Identity verification
Anti-deepfake live selfie at sign-up. Mandatory phone verification. Recommended KYC document check (fast, 30 seconds).
Zero ableism
AI filters intercept ableist comments, non-consensual fetish messages and hate speech. Graduated sanctions up to permanent ban.
24/7 moderation
Italian moderator team working every day. Response to urgent reports within 4h, standard reports within 24h.
Panic button
During a date, one tap sends GPS location to a trusted contact and (optionally) calls 112.
Safety check-in
The app automatically asks if everything's okay 2h after your date. If you don't reply, it alerts your trusted contact.
Granular privacy
Field-level control: hide age, exact location, photos from non-matched users.
Fuzzy location
We only show "X km from you", never exact coordinates. Nobody can triangulate your exact location from the app.
EU-hosted data
All personal data hosted exclusively in EU data centers. GDPR compliant. No data sales, ever.
Right to erasure
Account deletion with full data erasure within 30 days. GDPR data export of all your data with one click.
How verification works
Verification is fast but rigorous. A combination of live selfie, biometric signals and — only if you want — ID document.
- Level 1 — Live selfie: we ask you to replicate 3 random gestures on video to rule out pre-recorded photos and deepfakes.
- Level 2 — Phone: OTP via SMS, blocks creating multiple accounts from the same number.
- Level 3 — KYC (optional but recommended): ID document verified in 30 seconds via Onfido, certified partner.
Only profiles completing all three levels display the blue verification badge visible to everyone.
What we do against ableism and harassment
People with disabilities often face fetishization, inappropriate messages or intrusive curiosity. On LoveMeToo this behavior is unacceptable.
- AI filter blocking ableist message patterns before sending
- One-tap reporting on any message or profile
- Graduated sanctions: warning → 24h mute → 7d mute → permanent ban
- Immediate permanent ban for threats, violence or illegal material
- Transparency: we publish aggregated stats every quarter
Privacy by design
GDPR is the floor, not the ceiling. We go beyond where possible:
- Optional end-to-end encryption for messages (phase 2 rollout)
- Verification biometric data deleted immediately after check
- No third-party ad tracking
- Granular cookie consent, "reject all" always available
- Independent external security audit every 12 months
